Brook Otto

Brook joined the Shomo-Madsen team in October of 2014 as a personal lines manager and agent and was promoted to agency manager Colfax location in March of 2020. She enjoys the options of the independent channel and its ability to help her tailor policies to her clients’ specific needs and exposures which lets everyone sleep better at night.

She is a graduate of Ankeny High School and has held an insurance license since 2005. She started in the aircraft niche which was both interesting and fun before moving to a captive agency in Marshalltown before being recruited to join the Shomo-Madsen family which has equipped her with more resources to better serve her clients and their changing needs. She really values the family atmosphere and team approach taken here!

Outside of work, Brook enjoys listening to music, spending time with her 2 children, 4 pets, and getting outdoors whenever possible.
