Peggy joined Shomo-Madsen Insurance in September of 2023 as an agent and personal lines customer service representative. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1982 with the vast majority of her experience on the agency side. She moved to Missouri in 2015 and joined the Missouri Department of Insurance as a Senior Regulatory Auditor and recently moved back to Iowa and is excited to continue her career by getting back to the agency side with Shomo-Madsen Insurance. Peggy enjoys the challenge of finding the right carrier, coverages and limits for her clients that lets everyone sleep well at night.
She is a graduate of Alden High School where she was involved in band, vocals, FHA (now FCCLA) and 4-H. Outside of work Peggy enjoys spending time with family, cooking, gardening and making greeting cards (stamping out!).
