Steve purchased Nauman Insurance in 1989 and operated Nauman-Madsen Insurance until merging with Koehler Insurance and Bobby Shomo in 2010. He enjoys working with Commercial, Personal, Health, and Life insurance customers in the agency and loves the challenge of getting to know his customers, their families, and their businesses so that he can piece together the right insurance coverages to mitigate their exposures.
Steve has a Degree in Business Administration from Cameron University in Lawton Oklahoma and is a second-generation insurance agent and a lifelong learner. He has served the last 13 years on the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa Board of Directors and served as their State President in 2021.
When Steve’s not at work he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, trout fishing, and their horses. He also enjoys volunteering at his church, Trinity Lutheran. Steve is married to Leah and has three boys, Jake, Ben, and Luke.
